Fashion and Style Bloggers Move to Front Row at Fashion Shows
Fashion Blogging Just a few years the fashion industry looked down at fashion blogs. At the upcoming fashion weeks, many of the world's proclaimed VIP bloggers sit in the catwalk front row when the new fashion styles are shown
The competitive nature of fashion, communicated through fashion magazines is now facing the challenge of an oppositional view being put forward by blogs; blogs that are produced by non-professionals that have no responsibilities and act outside of the traditional media
VIP Bloggers at Copenhagen Fashion Week
VIP Fashion Bloggers Yvan Rodic, Hanneli Mustaparta, Jessica Weiss, Pelayo Diaz Zapico og Maria Nguyen. Although these names doesn't rhyme with celebrity, the five mentioned are some of the fashion industry's new 'celebs' - the new blogger VIPs, who will occupy seats on the first row at the catwalk shows during the upcoming Fashion Week
Celebrity Fashion Bloggers
The five fashion bloggers also goes under the title "Face Hunter", "Hanneli", "Lesmads", "Katelovesme" and "Vanillascented" when they blog their way through fashion latest trends, their own new fashion acquisitions or show snapshots from the street fashionistas walking the cities of Berlin or Tokyo. The five VIP bloggers from England, Spain, Germany and Norway has been invited to Copenhagen with all expenses paid by the organizers
Fashion Blog vs Traditional Media
Fashion Bloggers are "in" at the moment and many have become successful, but we also see a reduction in their influence. Blogs are good to show the style, looks and they can communicate news fast, which traditional media cannot, as magazines need time and planning and must convey depth in their writing
The personal blogs are a way to become a star and there must be an 'ego' (or personality) behind, but presently they cannot provide the in-depth perspective that magazines can. The future will show whether blogs will be able to move more in the direction of traditional fashion magazine reporting
